Job Description :

rockITdata is seeking a Technical Writer to join our team.
The Technical Writer will support enterprise IT operations by developing strategic communications and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.

This role enhances IT efficiency and stakeholder engagement while ensuring alignment with federal and industry standards. Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement communication strategies to promote IT services, increase user adoption, and enhance stakeholder satisfaction within the enterprise environment.

Create, edit, and manage a wide range of technical documentation, including :

User manuals System documentation Training materials Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Coordinate and distribute internal and external content that is clear, accurate, and audience appropriate.

Collaborate closely with various teams to gather technical input and translate complex concepts into accessible formats.

Ensure all documentation and communication outputs are consistent, high-quality, and compliant with USACE standards.

Analyze feedback and data to continuously improve communication efforts and documentation clarity.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic communications, technical writing, or related disciplines.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

High attention to detail and the ability to clearly convey technical information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Content Management Systems (CMS).

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Experience using data analytics to assess and improve communication strategies.
