What We're Looking For :

• Calm under pressure with strong decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced environments
• Dependable and self-motivated with minimal need for supervision
• 1+ year of experience as a Paramedic
• Nationally Certified Paramedic with valid Louisiana Paramedic License
• LA Class D Chauffeur's License
• BLS, ACLS required; PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire
• Crisis Prevention training within 6 months of hire
• Physically capable of performing job functions
• Knowledge of LA traffic laws and safe driving practices
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

What You Will Do :

Administer advanced life support care to sick or injured individuals in pre-hospital settings and during campus transport. Provide emergency medical interventions while ensuring safe vehicle operations and thorough patient documentation, in compliance with BRG policies and federal / state regulations.

This is a unique opportunity for a Paramedic. Our team is focused on providing critical, but less hazardous, patient transport between our facilities. Working 12-hour shifts is a significant change from the traditional 24-hour shifts, aiming to improve work-life balance and reduce fatigue.
