The role involves managing medication and performing joint injections for 18-20 patients daily, with a supportive team including a nurse practitioner. The provider must be board certified and have an active SC DEA license.

Location : South Carolina - 1 hour from Columbia

Duration : ASAP for 3 months

Reason for coverage : Current physician out on leave

Schedule : Mon Thurs : 7 : 3 am 4 : 00pm; Friday : 7 : 30am 12 : 00pm

Call : Minimal secondary call Primary care providers field all calls 1 st and then contact specialist if necessary

Patient volume : 18-20 Patients per day Mon-Thurs & Fri is 9-10 patients per day

Scope : Medication management and joint injection

EMR : e clinical works

Hospital : outpatient FQHC not necessary

Group / support : Nurse practitioner on site Will need to write prescriptions for NP. Will need to do weekly chart reviews. We have 13 other specialties within the Health system for physician to utilize

Requirements (boards, license) : Board certified required, SC DEA required.
