Job Description / Responsibilities

Understand the existing AWS Account Structure in source of client environment and analyze with the Target AWS Accounts.

Analyzed the source Resource Inventory, apply AWS best practices & migration approach and propose a migration plan.

Understanding Source & Target AWS Accounts & Systems hosted, Ability to create Gap analysis and recommendations report.

Should have performed Data Center Assessment, Discovery and Migration with AWS Accounts as well as On-Premise to AWS Account.

Understand the Configuration Differences in existing Source AWS Account & Target AWS, analyze the gaps, identify the steps to mitigate the difference and migrate.

Understand the Governance and Compliance process implemented in the source systems, highlight the challenges, gaps and strategy to address during migration or hosting in the target AWS Accounts.

Ability to create a run book to perform migration of the existing system to target AWS.

Good understanding of existing client Monitoring and Alerting tools hosted in Source AWS.

Ability to propose solution in the Target AWS.

Understand the existing IaC Standard and AWS Architectural Standards and perform necessary updates in target AWS.

Conduct Workshops with IT, app teams, and compliance.

Excellent in Client Communications. Both Verbal and Written.

Understanding the functionality wise mapping of Source AWS Apps to Target AWS Apps

Derive detailed plan for Cloud Infra Gap analysis.

Provide an Migration Approach based on AWS native tools.

Ability to work on Onsite & Offshore Model. Perform Daily Synch Up with the teams twice.

Should be able to coordinate with Offshore team and provide latest updates to the client and project teams.
