Your Role Awaits

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, initiate diagnostic tests, and develop tailored care strategies
• Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, or episodic disorders in collaboration with physicians or independently, as deemed appropriate
• Inform and educate patients and families about wellness, disease prevention, and ongoing management
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with your qualifications

Essential Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the willingness to obtain these within three months)
