Opportunity for Registered Nurses in the Internal Float Pool

Shift : 3rd Full / Part Time : Full time

Pay Range : $37.50 - $56.25

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

    • Schedule :

  • Self-Scheduled
  • Shift : 3rd Shift (7pm-7 : 30am)
  • FTE : 0.9 (12-hour shifts)
  • 2 Mondays & 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule
  • 1 Weekend per 6-week schedule
  • 2 Holidays (1 Summer & 1 Winter)
  • RNs are trained in ACLS, NIHSS, IV Ultrasound, and cross-training to be Charge RN

  • Medical-Surgical
  • Telemetry
  • ICU Support

    • What You'll Do :

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, dynamic environment
  • Adapt to various unit workflows while maintaining clinical excellence
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans

    • Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum of 18 months of Med / Surg or Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
  • Flexibility : Required to meet scheduling needs outlined above

    • Training & Skills :

  • Receive training in :
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (Stroke Scale)
  • IV Ultrasound
  • Charge Nurse cross-training to develop leadership skills and support multiple units

    Responsibilities include :

  • Delivering safe, therapeutic patient care in accordance with established standards
  • Engaging patients and their families in care planning
  • Proactively managing patient safety and incorporating evidence-based practices

    • Licenses & Certifications :

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

    • Education :

    Completion of an accredited Nursing program is required.
