30hop Restaurant in Merriam, Kansas is looking for part-time Bartenders to join our team! We’re gearing up for a busy season and looking for enthusiastic team members to join our restaurant! At 30hop, our service philosophy centers around teamwork and delivering an exceptional Guest experience. Every team member plays a crucial role in achieving this goal, and the Bartender is no exception. As the face of the bar and a key player in shaping the 30hop experience, bartenders must uphold our high standards by providing polished, professional service with energy and attention to detail.

Our bar is a true focal point of the restaurant—a bit of "eye candy" for all who walk in. Cleanliness, setup, and presentation are key to ensuring the bar is always inviting and reflective of the premium service we deliver. The Bartender is on stage, responsible for providing top-notch service to both Guests seated at the bar and fulfilling cocktail orders for the dining room.

30hop is a Midwest-based, full-service American bar and kitchen poised to surpass $30 million in combined revenue this year. With three thriving locations in Iowa, we have now expanded our presence to Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri.

Starting Pay for fully trained Bartenders : $4.35 per hour + tips, tipped out nightly.

Schedule : Thursday - Sunday availability is required.

Full-time Benefits : Available for all full-time employees who work on average 35 hours per week or more.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Acknowledge bar Guests within 30 seconds of their arrival, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
  • Serve all bar Guests according to the Beverage Menu, showcasing expert knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and other offerings.
  • Accurately and promptly fill cocktail orders for the dining room, ensuring all servers receive their drinks in a timely manner.
  • Follow the Steps of Service meticulously to provide each Guest with consistent, high-quality service.
  • Anticipate Guest needs and provide proactive, seamless service throughout their visit.
  • Engage with Guests to create memorable experiences that reflect 30hop's polished yet energetic atmosphere.
  • Maintain the bar as a central feature of the restaurant, ensuring it is clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times.
  • Complete opening, running, and closing sidework to ensure the bar area is always ready for service and up to 30hop standards.
  • Process and deliver beverage orders accurately, even when working with servers to fulfill dining room requests.
  • Present and process Guest checks efficiently, ensuring accurate payments and offering friendly, professional farewells.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all bar tools, glassware, and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards.

    • Qualifications :

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Prior experience as a bartender is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits, with a passion for mixology.
  • Exceptional communication and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
