| Job Description | Appointment: May 14, 2026 - August 4, 2026 Hours: Summer CRAs work an average of 20 hours per week on a flexible schedule they help determine. Summer Conference Resident Assistants (CRAs) act similarly to Resident Assistants by serving as liaisons and community builders between University Housing and Summer Conference groups. CRAs live and work in the residence halls to support conference participants, promote a positive and safe living environment, and assist with the daily operations of summer housing. CRAs provide customer service, process assignments, participate in on-call duty rotations, support facilities operations, complete administrative tasks, assist with policy enforcement, and work front desk shifts. They also help prepare Housing for the fall semester and provide administrative support under the supervision of the Coordinator for Residential Services. Benefits:

| Primary Responsibilities | During summer months Residence Halls may be reserved for internal and external groups interested in utilizing the campus facilities. CRAs are responsible for supporting the daily operations of summer housing and summer conference groups. This includes:
Summer Conference Staff must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, able to move through three story building via stairs, able to climb and descend stairs while carrying supplies, materials and/or furniture as needed. |
| Qualifications | Undergraduate candidates must have a cumulative and semester GPA of 2.5 or higher, while graduate candidates must have a cumulative and semester GPA of 3.5 or higher. Candidates must be able to live in University-assigned on-campus housing and be available to attend weekly staff meetings as well as work some nights and weekends. Desk Managers are expected to discuss any internships or other jobs during their employment with the Coordinator for Residential Services. All students must be in good standing with the University both financially and behaviorally. Interested applicants must complete an online student employment application and attach a resume. Any candidate offered the position will be required to undergo a pre-employment criminal background check as mandated by state law. |
