Rush University Medical Center , a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution, and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Section Chief of Electrophysiology .

The Section Chief will provide leadership and oversight of all operational and programmatic aspects of Electrophysiology at Rush's downtown location and Rush Oak Park Hospital (ROPH), including expertise in complex ablations and device implantation, along with Skills in LAAO implantation and / or lead extraction. Candidates must have an outstanding record of commitment to clinical service, research, and substantial administrative experience. In addition, candidates must be board certified and formal fellowship trained in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, currently at the Associate Professor level or higher and possess a commitment to innovation in the field and the leadership skills necessary for faculty development and the advancement of clinical and academic missions. The division has a highly supportive atmosphere with an approved plan for substantial growth in the coming years.

Rush offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, benefits, and other incentive programs for our employees. The total pay range shown reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, specialty; relevant experience and training; and other business and organizational factors. This total pay range is for a full-time, 1.0 FTE employee, and includes any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Pay Range : $530,000 - $729,000
