[job_card.job_description]Prepare quarterly and annual US (federal & state) and international tax provisions, including ASC 740 disclosures. Coordinate with external auditors for tax provision audits. Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax filings. Manage return calendar, extensions, and estimated payments. Support R&D credit calculations with external advisors. Resolve tax notices and close audits. Maintain tax compliance processes and documentation for SOX 404. Conduct tax research and monitor legislative changes. Mid-Senior level Contract Accounting / Auditing

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our client's team in Waltham, Ma.
Hybrid : 2-3 days onsite Waltham, Ma
Contract : W2 10 month contract with health benefits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; CPA and / or MST strongly preferred.
- 5 years in corporate or public accounting
- Significant experience with tax provisioning
- Must have Life Sciences experience
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740, including stock-based compensation and uncertain tax positions.
