Expected pay for this position is $48.13 - $56.63 / hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is a salaried position.
We are seeking a skilled Investigations Compliance Office to enhance our investigations process to better serve our patients and our Ministry. This role is a critical component of our Compliance Program and assists in maintaining a culture of compliance and adhering to compliance policies and regulations.
The ideal candidate will possess healthcare compliance, legal or regulatory experience in conducting investigations of reports of suspected non-compliance. This candidate will have experience with :
POSITION SUMMARY : The Compliance Officer Defined Focus (Investigations) provides highly specialized expertise within their assigned area of focus and works collaboratively with leadership, staff, and other compliance officers and auditors to proactively consult and educate to ensure compliance with the laws and regulations within their area of focus. When gaps are identified, the officer partners with the responsible parties to create corrective action plans that will ensure compliance going forward. Area of focus may be one or more of the following : Research compliance, Innovation compliance, Grant compliance, Fraud and abuse laws and regulations, Billing and reimbursement compliance, Compliance program development, ADA / Section 504.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Master's Degree
Experience : 5 years' experience in Compliance, Audit, Healthcare, Business, or Area of Focus being recruited.
