Acara Solutions is seeking an Order Processing Specialist to join our client in Buffalo, NY!
T his role is the first point of contact for all internal business units, supporting order entry, processing, and resolution of complex customer requests. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Type : Direct Hire
Schedule : Monday-Friday 8AM to 5PM, 100% onsite
Pay : Up to 26 / HR
Responsibilities :
- Enter customer orders into the system
- Check that pricing is correct
- Set ship dates based on standard lead times
- Send order confirmations
- Inform customers of back orders or delays
- Communicate requests to speed up orders
- Process credits and debits for pricing issues
- Update orders when changes are made
- Help resolve product shortages and shipping damage issues
- Work with the manager to handle customer concerns
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management
Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications :
High school or equivalency; Associates degree in Business, Communications or equivalent, preferredPrevious customer service, inside sales, or administrative / clerical experience preferredAbility to use MS-Office, MS-Outlook, and ERP business systems
