First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Santa Rosa, California.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements :

  • IV therapy & vascular access : starting / maintaining IVs, PICC / central line care, arterial line management
  • Respiratory care : ventilator management, BiPAP / CPAP, high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), suctioning, chest tube assistance
  • Cardiovascular care : post-cardiac surgery, CABG
  • , Epicardial pacing wire care
  • , Impella
  • , IABP
  • , Swan-Ganz monitoring
  • , TAVI / TAVR, valve replacement / repair
  • Neurological care : acute stroke / CVA management, ICP monitoring, external ventricular drain (EVD)
  • , post-neurosurgery care
  • Medications / Infusions : titrate cardiac / vasoactive drips, continuous IV sedation / paralytics, procedural sedation, emergency medications, IV insulin protocols
  • Professional / Clinical skills : infection prevention, PPE use, surgical wound / drain / Wound Vac care, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency response

    • Certifications and License

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • RN License CA
