Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. * Assess, prepare and position patients for procedures. * Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary. * Prepare, implement and document plan of care. * Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures. * Perform and/or facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. * Perform set up and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. * Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: * Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
