A company is looking for a Technical Accountant to manage investment portfolio accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Review and reconcile custodial feed activity and post monthly transactions in the finance system

Prepare and review statutory and GAAP financial statements for investments

Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations and respond to inquiries from external auditors

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3+ years of accounting experience, including at least one year in investment accounting

Experience with life insurance SAP and NAIC Annual Statement preparation (preferred)

Experience with Clearwater Analytics and S&P Capital IQ Pro platforms (preferred)

CPA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications (preferred)
