Job Summary
GameDay Men's Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Fresno location. The position is ideal for someone interested in being a part of a pioneering health program for men. (www.gamedaymenshealth.com).

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for:

• Provide exceptional customer service and greetings to patients
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
• Phlebotomy (blood draws) of patients
• Injections (Testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12 and other vitamins)
• Performing Erectile Dysfunction (ED) procedure on ED Patients
• Checking patient vitals and recording in EMR
• Ensuring all lab results are input into patient charts
• Assisting medical providers with patient care
• Assisting in lab operations
• Maintaining accurate records in EMR and adhering to all HIPAA Protocols.
• Scheduling appointments

Requirements

• Smiling and cheerful and energetic manner
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a team player
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively and work in fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with sales: this is a cash/medspa business and needs customer service and sales
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical Assistant certification
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy
• Basic life support certification
• Ability to learn and use electronic health record systems and other medical applications
• Experience in a related field and positions, such as medspas, urology, family practice, lab, endocrinology, gynecology or general practice is preferred.
• No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
