[job_card.job_description]3+ years of experience in healthcare administration, contracting, grants, or program coordination Demonstrated success in managing agreements, meeting deadlines, and ensuring compliance Experience preparing accurate reports and working cross-departmentally to align processes Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field Familiarity with Medicaid, managed care, or community health contracts Experience preparing or submitting grants in a healthcare or nonprofit setting Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM (may vary slightly) Paid Sick Time Offered (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances) Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix Offers 6 different health plans : 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan. Eligibility for health benefits is based on verifying that an average of 30 hours per week during the first 4 weeks of the work assignment has been met. Healthcare Advocate
Southern California (Remote)
Overview of Responsibilities :
- Identify and pursue contracting opportunities with health plans, counties, state, and federal entities
- Target and establish relationships with organizations where PHG does not currently have partnerships
- Manage the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and support timely, competitive submissions
- Write and submit federal and state grant applications, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals
- Research and evaluate new grant opportunities to expand funding streams
- Track grant deliverables and ensure compliance with all funding requirements
- Serve as a liaison to external stakeholders, including health plans, medical groups, and community organizations
- Strengthen PHG's visibility and reputation within the Southern California healthcare ecosystem

$70,304.00 - $74,500.00 (Dependent on experience)
