Summary

A Power BI Developer is responsible for designing developing and deploying interactive dashboards reports and visual analytics solutions to support business intelligence and decision-making. This role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights ensuring accuracy scalability and usability across business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain Power BI dashboards reports and visualizations for business stakeholders.
• Connect to multiple data sources including SQL databases Excel cloud platforms and APIs.
• Transform and model data to create efficient and optimized datasets for reporting.
• Collaborate with business analysts data engineers and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Perform data validation quality checks and troubleshooting to ensure accurate reporting.
• Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance scalability and usability.
• Implement row-level security access controls and governance policies for data.
• Document dashboards data sources and calculations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with Power BI features best practices and business intelligence trends.
• Provide training and guidance to business users on leveraging Power BI reports effectively.
• Participate in agile development processes sprint planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to standardizing BI practices across teams.
