Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location : Washington, DC Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $3,368 per week Shift Information : Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 9 Weeks Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Labor and Delivery Duration : 9 weeks Shift : Night Shift Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum of 2 years L&D experience required License : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN - Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring required Must-Have : - Must live 50 miles away - Cerner experience required Description : The patient population includes females of childbearing years. Pregnant individuals at various stages of gestation will be cared for. Responsibilities include managing laboring patients and scheduled procedures such as C-sections and external cephalic versions. Triage issues will also be addressed as they arise. Activities on the unit include admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-operative care, and deliveries (both vaginal and C-section). Common equipment used in Labor and Delivery includes fetal monitors and documentation systems. Cerner and Fetalink will be utilized for electronic documentation.
