[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client site protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required to address incidents and maintain a secure environment. Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related risks specific to chemical and petrochemical locations and report findings promptly. A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in Pacheco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.
