Job Description

As a Security Officer - Chemical Plant Patrol in Pacheco, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
  • Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders as required to address incidents and maintain a secure environment.
  • Remain alert to potential hazards or security-related risks specific to chemical and petrochemical locations and report findings promptly.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
