About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Profession : Surgical Technology

Specialty : Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Monday to Friday

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM)

Experience : CVOR experience required

License : Current surgical tech license preferred

Certifications : BLS, NBSTSA

Must-Have :

Must have completed a Surgical Technology program.

Must have five years of consecutive training / experience as a surgical tech, or LPN with one year of surgical tech experience preferred.

Profile Requirements : Work history.

Skills checklist, current to one year, pertinent to specialty.

Two supervisory references from the past 12 months of employment.

Description :

Assists the surgeon during the operative procedure.

Maintains a safe and aseptic environment in the operating room area.

CSTs demonstrate teamwork, ensuring the sterile environment is maintained.

Keeps a safe environment for patients.
