Staff Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Andover, Massachusetts. In this role, you will handle key accounting functions such as tax preparation, reconciliations, and general ledger management. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and file sales tax and corporate tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
- Record and reconcile journal entries to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly documented.
- Perform credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in all financial activities.
