AUTOMOTIVE SALES ASSOCIATE
Location : Oakes Kia | North Kansas City, MO
Schedule : Full-Time | Monday–Saturday with one weekday off each week
Compensation : $75,000–$175,000 annually (salary + commission structure)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an ambitious, people-focused Automotive Sales Associate to join our growing team. This role centers on building relationships, helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs, and delivering a smooth, professional sales experience. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build strong, long-term relationships with customers to create lasting clientele
Use consultative selling skills to ask questions, understand needs, and guide customers to the right vehicle
Develop strong product knowledge and stay up to date on features, packages, and technology
Perform high-quality demonstrations of new and used vehicles
Follow up with customers to support referrals and repeat business
Overcome objections and handle sales conversations with professionalism
Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to review goals, performance, and opportunities
Bring a positive attitude and consistent effort to every workday
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by goals and personal success. You should feel confident talking with customers, learning product details quickly, and maintaining a professional presence. Ambition, communication skills, and a strong work ethic will take you far in this role.
REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a standard background check
Strong reliability and consistent attendance
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Strong communication skills and a professional, well-groomed appearance
Sales or customer service experience preferred
Self-starter mentality and ability to learn quickly
