Warehouse Associate Position

Wood Personnel Services is hiring for several open warehouse positions throughout Rutherford, Davidson, and Wilson County. These positions are temp-to-hire, with plenty of available overtime opportunities.

Warehouse Associate Pay and Perks:

• $15.00 - $19.80 an hour
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available

Warehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving or related environment preferred
• Ability to learn and follow work instructions
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (often up to 50 lbs or more)
• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
• Ability to work in varying warehouse environments (temperature, noise, etc.)
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Problem-solving and adaptability
• Dependability and punctuality
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick and pack orders by hand
• Unload trucks and sort bins and/or parcels
• Distribute incoming production to operations teams
• Meet productivity goals and comply with quality standards
• Receive and document warehouse merchandise for delivery or return
• Keep an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse
• Identify any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor
• Ensure that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
• Scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination
• Prepare orders for shipping according to terms of customers purchase order
