[job_card.job_description]Position Information Position Title Lab Supervisor - (Hourly Continuous Pool) - Learning Center Position Description POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a POOL position. Application materials for this temporary position are accepted on an on-going basis. As openings for temporary, part-time lab supervisors become available, candidates may be selected from this pool of applicants. Required Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, cultural background, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty, and staff.
AND
The minimum qualifications for service as a learning assistance or learning skills coordinator or instructor, shall be either (a) or (b) below.
(a) Any master’s degree level discipline in which learning assistance is provided at the college where the instructor is employed;
OR
(b) A master’s degree in education, educational psychology, or instructional psychology, or other master’s degree with emphasis in adult learning theory.
(NOTE: Minimum qualifications do not apply to learning assistance for which no apportionment is claimed.)
