Job Summary

• Responsible for machinery operation and / or bagging operation for fruit in a packing facility.  Note : This equipment is high volume and state of the art.  Requires prior experience with touch screens for speed control and operations.
• Responsibilities and Duties
• Preforms pre-operation checklist prior to packing production
• Sets up machinery and monitors the production of machinery daily
• Notify and submit maintenance request to supervisor for any maintenance issues
• Ensures that the machinery is operating properly and safely
• Loads bags, boxes, or other items into machinery to keep up with production
• Works safely and follows proper protocols for starting, stopping, and operating machinery.
• Using a touch screen, make daily adjustments to machinery / bagging to control speeds, timing, and other items
• Other duties, will be assigned

Pay Range ($16.50 min - $17.50 max) / hour

This position may encompass other duties than the specified duties listed above.  If necessary, alternative duties can be assigned at the discretion of the direct supervisor.
