Experience : Proven experience in infant care or early childhood education. Certifications : CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Strong understanding of child development principles and safe sleep practices. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and team members. Ability to perform physical tasks related to infant care (lifting, standing, bending, etc.). Must complete all background checks and health screenings. Flexible schedule and willingness to support the team during peak times. Experience leading parent communication or engagement activities. Advanced credentials such as ECE degrees, Advanced CDA, or infant mental health training. Familiarity with state childcare licensing or quality-rated programs. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Infant Teacher who will foster a loving, developmentally rich environment for infants. This role is ideal for someone who brings warmth, patience, and a deep understanding of early childhood development.
As an Infant Teacher, you will play a key role in creating a secure, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. You’ll plan and implement individualized activities that support sensory exploration, motor skills, language development, and emotional security, all while partnering closely with families to celebrate each child’s milestones.
Position : Infant Teacher
Location : Atlanta, GA
Schedule : Full-Time, Monday–Friday (Shifts between 6 : 00 a.m. and 7 : 00 p.m.)
Start Date : Immediate
Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and sensory-based activities that align with developmental milestones.
- Provide responsive, high-quality care , including feeding, diapering, and maintaining nurturing routines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom in compliance with all state licensing and health regulations.
- Build trusting relationships with parents through daily communication and progress updates.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and curriculum consistency across classrooms.
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings to enhance teaching practices.
- Uphold all state childcare regulations, safety policies, and quality standards .
