About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join a high-acuity Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team as a full-time Nocturnist in Loveland, Colorado . This is a permanent position at a leading medical center, offering the opportunity to deliver advanced overnight surgical and trauma care in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

Provide full-spectrum trauma & acute care surgery coverage overnight

Manage trauma admissions, emergency general surgery & inpatient care

Perform evaluations, develop care plans & interpret diagnostics

Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitations & operative support

Practice with a high degree of autonomy while managing complex cases

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team

Document all care in Epic EMR

Support quality, safety & performance initiatives

Access professional development & leadership pathways through APP programs

Hospital-based Trauma & Acute Care Surgery service

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary : $136,822 - $179,379 (based on experience)

Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) : Up to $10,000 annually

Relocation Assistance : Up to $10,000 (eligible candidates)

CME : Up to $3,500 / year

5 CME days annually

Required Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited PA program (Master's in PA Studies)

NCCPA Certification (PA-C) - no exceptions

Unrestricted Colorado PA License

Eligible for DEA & Medicare / Medicaid enrollment

BLS Certification (AHA or American Red Cross)

No HHS / OIG or GSA sanctions or exclusions

Clean malpractice & license history (highly preferred)

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience

OR

Completion of a surgical fellowship (highly preferred)

Not accepting new graduates
