We are a fast-growing and dynamic automotive repair facility looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Automotive Service Writer to join our team. As an Automotive Service Writer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience, from the initial contact to the final bill.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and listen to their concerns and needs regarding their vehicles
• Communicate with technicians to diagnose problems and provide detailed and accurate service information
• Prepare and present accurate repair cost estimates to customers
• Explain the repair process and answer any questions customers may have
• Schedule appointments and coordinate repairs with the service department
• Follow up with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with their service experience
• Continuously update customer information and vehicle history records in our computer system
• Handle customer complaints in a professional and empathetic manner
• Continuously monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an Automotive Service Writer or similar customer service role
• Strong understanding of automotive repair and maintenance services
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
• Strong computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to work in a team environment and build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
