Local Fruit packing house in Reedley, CA is now hiring quality inspectors. Long temp opportunities!
Pay Rate : $16.90 / hr
Schedule : Monday-Saturday, 6am to 3pm plus over time as needed.
Job duties may include but not limited to the following :
Ensure all products meet the customer and product requirements
Keep work areas and equipment clean always, taking swabs and testing cleanliness of equipment
Obtain liquid ingredient samples from bulk containers and perform testing
Verify product codes and chart recorders
Perform required testing of products (raw & finished), recording product specifications
Analyze batch samples and / or liquid ingredients
Monitor the filler to ensure weights, chart codes, labeling, pasteurizer temps are accurate by performing hourly checks
Place packing, raw material, batches or finished product on hold
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED
Previous experience in quality control, preferred
Lifting / carrying
