Backend Software Engineer - 1578

City : Glendale, CA

Onsite / Hybrid / Remote : Onsite (3 days a week)

Duration : 8 months (to start with)

Rate Range : Up to$92.5 / hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub -contract)

Work Authorization : GC, USC, All valid EADs except OPT, CPT, H1B

Must Have :

Responsibilities :

Design, build, and deploy backend microservices using Java or Kotlin with Spring Boot.

Own features end to end, from API design to deployment.

Design and manage database schemas across SQL and NoSQL systems.

Improve service performance, reliability, and scalability.

Enhance CI / CD pipelines to support faster and safer releases.

Implement logging, metrics, and tracing for production systems.

Support local development using containerized services.

Contribute to code standards and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications :

4+ years of backend software engineering experience.

Strong hands -on experience with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.

Proven experience building and supporting REST APIs and microservices.

Experience working with containers and orchestration platforms.

Solid understanding of cloud -based application development.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
