Tire and Lube Technician

Job Description :

University Tire & Auto Service has been providing superior automotive repair and maintenance to our customers throughout the Los Angeles area for over 34 years. The company is seeking a motivated Tire and Lube Technician to join our team!

Schedule :

• 40 hours / week
• The shift does not fluctuate daily / weekly
• Work only 5 days / week
• We can work around your existing commitments (family, school, etc.)

Qualifications :

ASE Certifications (Not required, but a plus)

Smog Certified (Not required, but a plus)

U.S. Citizen or Green Card

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

At least 1 year of previous experience in a retail shop environment

Responsibilities :

Conducting thorough and accurate courtesy inspections.

Accurately documenting all findings in repair orders.

Performing quality control procedures.

Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Cleaning work space to facilitate safe and efficient service.

Maintaining / cleaning shop equipment as needed.

Identifying preventative maintenance services.

Following TSB's and repair procedures.

Willingness to perform a wide variety of automotive repairs and services.

Performing other functions as assigned or as the situation requires.
