General Manager

Firehouse Subs is Hiring a Highly Skilled General Manager!

As the General Manager, you will be fully accountable for the profitable operation of our restaurant while ensuring adherence to all company guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness
  • Ensure profitability by operating within established guidelines for food cost, labor, and sales growth
  • Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives
  • Be accountable for the proper staffing and training of the restaurant
  • Participate in local restaurant marketing and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives
  • Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional, positive manner
  • Communicate effectively with the GM / Owner regarding any business-related issues
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and report any problems immediately to the Owner
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Owner

    • Requirements :

  • Possess a positive attitude and be ready and willing to manage the team and serve customers with a smile
  • Be able to hire, train, and motivate a high-performance team
  • Understand and manage food and labor costs
  • Operate the restaurant at maximum profitability
  • 1+ years of management experience

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours at a time
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Open availability - ability to work weekends and some nights required
  • Cash handling skills required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office required
  • Top-notch customer service skills
  • Ability to lead and develop a strong team
