The MIL Corporation is looking for an A / V Technician III to support one or more ongoing AV / Video Teleconferencing (VTC) projects for our government customers from our Lexington Park, MD location.The A / V Technician will work with Technicians and Engineers to gain valuable experience in AV development technologies.

This position currently requires an on-site schedule with 5 days on-site and is eligible for Compressed Work Schedule (CWS). Schedule is subject to change based on company / contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Builds AV racks based of drawings provided by the engineering team
• Leads on site integration and installation
• Labels communications infrastructure including cable, panels, patch cords and electronics
• Installation and mounting of equipment, such as monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Fabrication, termination, and installation of AV cabling
• Testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
• Performs inventory management and record configuration information on installed equipment and software modules

Travel

Candidates must be willing and able to travel CONUS, and OCONUS sites up to three weeks at a time. Total travel is approximately 30%.

Clearance

All applicants for this position must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / SCI clearance. Please note that the clearance process takes into account financial background aspects.

Compensation

The SCA (Service Contract Act) role at The MIL Corporation is subject to the regulations and guidelines set forth by the U.S. Department of Labor. As an SCA position, it is classified as a service contract and is subject to specific wage determinations and benefit requirements mandated by the government.

The compensation and benefits for the SCA role at The MIL Corporation will be in accordance with the prevailing wage rates and benefits specified by the Department of Labor for the specific job classification and location. The current rate is $ 28.79 - $33.11 per hour. Final salary for this position is determined based on factors such as individual qualifications, education, experience, and contractual limitations.
