We are seeking a dynamic Middle School Science Teacher who is ready to create a classroom where curiosity is king, hypotheses are tested, and every student sees themselves as a scientist.
Your Mission : Transform the Science Classroom into a Lab of Possibilities
In this role, you will be more than a teacher; you will be a facilitator of wonder. You’ll design hands-on, inquiry-based experiences that make science relevant and exhilarating for our grades 6-8 students. As a key member of our collaborative team, you will empower students to ask tough questions, explore the world around them, and build the academic foundation for lifelong success.

- Design Engaging Curriculum : Develop and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned, and culturally responsive science lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
- Lead with Hands-On Learning : Foster a love of science through labs, experiments, project-based learning, and real-world applications.
- Champion Every Student : Use differentiated instruction and formative data to meet the diverse needs of all learners and ensure no one is left behind.
- Build a Thriving Classroom Community : Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where students feel empowered to take intellectual risks.
- Partner for Success : Maintain strong, proactive communication with families and actively collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals.

Requirements
Who We're Looking For
You Must Have :
A Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.A valid California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science.Two current letters of recommendation.You'll Be a Perfect Fit If You :
Hold a Bilingual Authorization (BCLAD / EL) and are fluent in Spanish and English.Have at least one year of teaching experience, preferably in a diverse or dual-language setting.Believe that science is a dynamic, hands-on subject and you can’t wait to get students experimenting.Are a reflective practitioner who uses data to drive instruction and possesses a relentless growth mindset.Build strong, authentic relationships with students, families, and colleagues.Are culturally competent and deeply believe in the power of bilingual education and educational equityBenefits
