Medical Collection Specialist

A company is looking for a Medical Collection Specialist, Full-Time (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities

Perform extensive insurance claim follow-ups for denials and appeals

Interact with payer representatives and various internal departments

Correct claims and file appeals with supporting documents to insurance companies

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma

3 to 5 years of experience in office billing and collections

Knowledge of insurance, billing terms, CPT / ICD10, and coding

Minimum of three years' experience in medical collections

Spine / Orthopedic surgery experience preferred
