Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Retail Patrol in Webster, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to visitors and staff. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Sat 09 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols within the retail environment.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site policies.
  • Support emergency response activities by coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
