A respected and well-established defense firm in Lexington, Kentucky is actively seeking an experienced General Liability Associate Attorney to join their growing litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with solid defense experience who is looking for a stable, supportive environment and meaningful casework.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of litigation experience and be capable of independently managing a diverse caseload. The role focuses on general liability , auto defense (including slip-and-fall matters), and workers’ compensation defense .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general liability and auto defense cases from inception to resolution
• Handle slip-and-fall, premises liability, and auto-related defense matters
• Represent clients in workers’ compensation defense claims
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal reports
• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners, support staff, and clients throughout the litigation process
