Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Supporting surgical procedures by preparing and organizing the operating room impeccably
  • Upholding sterile fields and strictly following infection control protocols
  • Passing instruments and supplies efficiently to surgeons and surgical assistants
  • Preparing and managing surgical equipment before, during, and after surgeries
  • Monitoring and ensuring the readiness of supplies for each surgical case
  • Collaborating alongside nurses, anesthesiologists, and fellow surgical staff for seamless patient care
  • Maintaining accurate surgical counts and documenting necessary details
Education Requirements:
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
Certifications Needed:
  • Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential is required
  • BLS certification (or ability to acquire it within 90 days of hiring)
