The Food Safety Quality (FSQ) Technician tests and inspects products at various stages throughout the production process to ensure compliance with product specifications and evaluates data to determine and maintain the quality and integrity of products.

Responsibility and Duties :

Required Skills & Abilities

Education and / or Experience :

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in food science, food technology, chemistry or related field preferred, and one year experience in a Food or Beverage Manufacturing Quality Assurance role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :

Juice HACCP Certification preferred.

Physical Demands :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25-50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment :

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however the employee may be required to enter production areas where the noise level is usually loud and hearing protection is required.
