Job Summary

Pharmacist is a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and regulatory-compliant verification of prescriptions processed during the shift. This position focuses on the second stage of prescription verification (PV2), providing a final review before fulfillment and shipment to patients. The PV2 Pharmacist must work efficiently in a high-volume production environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and adherence to state and federal pharmacy regulations.

This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to operational excellence to support the pharmacy's 24 / 7 fulfillment model. This position offers the flexibility to transition into a senior management roles based on the employee's performance and capabilities.

Work Environment

This role operates in a fast-paced mail order pharmacy setting. It requires long periods of standing, working at computer stations, and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 25 lbs. The shift operates in a controlled environment designed to optimize productivity while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Cognitive and Physical Demands

Schedule

Shall be available to work on weekends as needed, hours may vary. Shall be able to work in both shifts.

Shift hours : 10 a.m. - 6.30 p.m. or 11 a.m. - 7.30 p.m. Overnight shift may be offered based on candidate's availability and business needs.

This schedule requires flexibility to accommodate pharmacy operations and meet patient demands.

Job Type : Full-time, 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 100% On Site
