LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Vascular Surgery PA in Louisiana!

About The Position

We are seeking a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 90-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana starting Jan 5, 2026. This role features 24-hour call coverage 3–4 days per week, with one dedicated clinic day managing 15–20 post-op patients.

  • Schedule : 24-hour call coverage, 3–4 days per week; 1 day of clinic per week

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct inpatient rounding for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients
  • Perform surgical consults as requested
  • Provide Emergency Room call coverage
  • Manage a weekly clinic day focused on 15–20 post-operative patients
