INVENTORY SPECIALIST - Phoenix, AZ

Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inventory Specialist. The Inventory Specialist responsibilities include counting and balancing merchandise, making lists of products in stock. You will also identify any discrepancies or losses at the end of business operations each week to prevent them from happening again.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for tracking all inventory to ensure our company maintains proper inventory levels for products, equipment, and supplies as needed.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and / or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assists with periodic (at least annual) physical inventory audits.
• Operates forklift truck when necessary.
• Evaluating and managing stock rotation procedures
• Maintaining inventory storage space in the store’s warehouse
• Training staff in stocking procedures and product dating methods
• Planning warehouse space usage
• Assisting Procurement in placing inventory restock orders.
• Communicating with management about any inventory issues
• Work with management if products are missing or damaged within a shipment.
• Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.
