We're seeking an outgoing, analytical and innovative Job Cost Accountant to join the accounting department of our rapidly growing company in Houston! This is a great opportunity to participate in development of new processes, with ample opportunities for advancement. Join us in serving others and growing the Greater Houston area!
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Create and evaluate cost analysis reports to ensure costs are appropriately applied against jobs.
- Review invoices and estimates to ensure compliance with project budgets.
- Ensure accurate and timely coding of job costs and other expenses.
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor documentation, including initial contracts, obtaining COIs, and performing cycle checks to ensure compliance.
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations and ensure accurate coding.
- Process invoices from vendors and subcontractors and submit to project managers for approval.
