Staff Pharmacist Full Time Rotate

Up to $5,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months

Position Summary

The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients; a working knowledge of pharmacokinetics by assisting the physicians and staff pharmacists in drug-dose relationships; for providing the hospital with a safe and effective way of monitoring drugs to avoid the potential for any toxic reaction; for provision of Nutritional Support functions. Participates in on-going Performance Improvement programs and related clinical pharmacy practices as per Joint Commission and ASHP guidelines.

EDUCATION

Minimum : BS in Pharmacy required.

Preferred : Pharm D

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

At least one year's previous experience in a hospital setting as a Clinical Pharmacist preferred

Good communication skills and ability to relate effectively to hospital staff, department heads, administration and medical staff

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE / REGISTRATION

Current & Valid Florida License as Registered Pharmacist
