Locum Tenens : Emergency Medicine Physician (Near Lake Worth Beach, FL)

Are you a dedicated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physician seeking a dynamic locum tenens opportunity in a vibrant community near Lake Worth Beach, FL? We are looking for a qualified physician to join our team and provide high-quality emergency care. This is a locum tenens position with a start date as soon as credentialing is complete, offering a 3-month contract with the possibility to extend.

What We Offer : Schedule :

Flexible full-time schedule

Standard shifts of 8-12 hours
Coverage needed 24 / 7 with various shift options

Patient Care :

Be prepared to handle a high volume of patients in a fast-paced emergency department

Work with a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics

Provide comprehensive emergency care, including advanced cardiac and trauma support

Supportive Team :

Collaborative work environment with experienced emergency medical staff

Access to specialists and subspecialists for consultations

Advanced nursing support, including triage and critical care nurses

State-of-the-Art Facilities :

Modern emergency department equipped with the latest medical technology

Efficient patient management systems and protocols

Utilization of electronic medical records (EMR) for streamlined patient care

Qualifications :

Board Certification :

Required in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

Certifications :

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

State License :

Active Florida medical license required

Experience :

Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency medicine

Recent face-to-face patient contact within the past year

Skills :

Proficiency in emergency procedures and trauma care

Strong clinical and decision-making skills

Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
