A highly skilled Gastroenterology Physician is needed for a 6-month locum assignment in Hartford County, CT, from March to September 2024. The position involves diagnosing and treating diseases of the digestive system, performing colonoscopies and endoscopies, and requires a board certification and either a Connecticut state license or willingness to obtain one. The physician will work a scheduled Monday to Friday with rotating call, offering competitive compensation and additional benefits.

Our client in Hartford County, CT is in need of a LOCUM Gastroenterology Physician for a 6-month assignment!

Job details :

  • Work Dates Needed : March - Sept 2024
  • Preferred Schedule : Mon - Fri (8a-5p) w / rotating call 1 : 7
  • Inpatient / Outpatient
  • Scope of Work : Standard GI; diagnosing, managing treatment and prevention of diseases of all the organs in the digestive system, including the GI tract (esophagus, stomach, and intestines) and biliary organs (liver, bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder; able to perform colonoscopies, endoscopies, basic functionalities of a GI physician.
  • 2 clinic sessions per week and 2.5 days of endoscopy per week; support DOC clinic / fellows clinic
  • EMR : Epic

Job Requirements :

  • Board Certified
  • CT state license or willingness to obtain
  • Prefer at least 2 years of experience
