Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee‑owned organization as an entry‑level Associate Project Engineer for its Portland 553 operations based in Portland, Oregon .

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It is a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

This position is safety‑sensitive.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings
• Create and manage punch lists
• Support the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA / QC program
• Prepare RFIs and submittals
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Perform quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Support the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinate warranties and O&M’s
• Coordinate material with purchase orders and invoicing
