Development Director

A company is looking for a Development Director to lead fundraising efforts and donor relations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of a multi-channel fundraising strategy aligned with the organization's mission and revenue goals

Manage an active portfolio of individual, corporate, and foundation donors while cultivating and stewarding donor relationships

Support the Chief Development Officer in updating policies and procedures for the fundraising operation

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience, or at least 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Strong interest in fundraising and ability to build relationships with leadership and stakeholders

High level of professionalism, strategic thinking, and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with donor management software

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
